01 / The origin

Grown and made in Tamil Nadu

Our cotton comes from India, home of some of the world's finest organic cotton. It's grown, spun, knit and sewn in Tamil Nadu, in southern India.

This region has generations of cotton and textile know-how. We work close to the source so we know where the fiber comes from and who turns it into cloth.

Every piece in this collection is 100% Indian organic cotton.

How Iron 4 gets its color

    The vat

    Iron scraps and palm sugar ferment in vinegar, a traditional Indian dye bath.

    The dip

    Each undyed piece is submerged in the fermented iron vinegar vat.

  3. A dyer lifts a wet, dark textile from a bucket and wrings it by hand, letting excess liquid drip back into the bucket. The video has no speech.

    Four dips deepen the shade. That’s where the name Iron 4 comes from.

Undyed: the color of the cotton itself

The Baggy Sweats are left undyed and unbleached. The color you see is the natural shade of the raw cotton fiber.

Made from virgin fibers and raw material, with no dye or bleach added.
