The Land
The clay used to create these hand-formed vessels is sourced locally from the Mojave Desert, known for its unique geology and distinct landscape. The Mojave Desert is a fragile and diverse landscape, characterized by its arid climate, rocky terrain, and sparse vegetation. This terrain is home to a variety of hardy plant and animal species, adapted to survive in the harsh conditions of this desert environment.
The Process
Individually formed with care and attention to detail, using locally sourced materials. The hand-formed clay housing for each candle is made from local clay found in the Mojave Desert, creating a unique pattern on each vessel. The candles themselves are made using soy wax, and scented using only organic essential oils.

These candles are made by a skilled artisan named Tony, who takes pride in his work and has a passion for creating beautiful and functional pottery. When burning each candle, you are supporting Tony, and choosing a product that is both high-quality and locally sourced.
